I'm 7 months old!!!

This is me playing with my toys.

I'm getting bigger and taller day by day. I'm almost 7kg now. Mummy's been feeding me lots lots and solid food. I have like 3-4 meals a day. I'm also very active, ever since I learn how to tummy crawl and turn over, I've been busy exploring. Now, I can sit up on my own without any help :) Also, am more vocal, learning to talk and make more sounds. My first word so far is "da da" n "there there".

Here is my current schedule:

7am - Wake up - Nursing time
8.00am - Breakfast
9.00am - Bath time
10.00am - Nap time - Nursing time
Noon - Lunch
1.00pm - Playtime/Outing to Grandma's
3.30pm - Nap time - Nursing time
5.30pm - Snack time
6.00pm - Playtime
6.30pm - Dinner time
7.00pm - Bath time
8.30pm - Join mummy and daddy for dinner
9.30pm - Bedtime
11.00pm - Nursing time

Yi Shyian 1st Brithday

It's Yi Shyian first b'day and my grandparents were in town. Daddy decided to take us all to Genting. I really like the cold weather there. Both my grandparents tried their luck at the slot machines while mummy and I went walking around the hotel. Here's pics of me with daddy at the main resort hotel.

My cousin's is 1 years old already. Mine will be up very soon. It was a Lok Lok B'day party. I think daddy like it alot. Mummy not a big fan of the lok lok but I had fun playing with my cousin.

Also here's a video of my first word "da da", mummy is very jealous and upset coz I didn't said "ma ma" instead I said daddy first.

Eat Eat Eat

I've been eating more now. I really do enjoy my food. Especially like when mummy cooks me porridge. Thanks to Aunty Sewei who has loan me this high chair I can eat and play more now.

I'm now 6 months old

I’m still a tiny little baby. Weighing just under 6kg, 5.9kg to be exact. I’m 65cm long now. Doc says I’m a healthy and active baby. Took my jabs again, didn’t fuss again. I can turn from side to side now and also able to sit up (still wobbly). I’m trying to communicate with my mummy and daddy (baby talk) but don’t think they quite understand me yet. I have a pair of teeth on the bottom gums waiting to come out. Sometimes I get real fussy and cranky when they hurt. Lately, my sleep patterns have been quite erratic, its driving my parents crazy. I don’t really like sleeping. I can stand up tall with support and crawl on my tummy. I’ve now started to eat solids and my poo poo is very very sticky and stinky too. I’m growing up fast and strong.

International Hot Air Balloon Fest 2009

I missed going out to take photos. Since this is the first time Malaysia plays host to the Hot Air Balloon Fest, we decided to go check it out last weekend. It was a really hot hot evening, sun was blaring away. It took us quite fast to get to Putrajaya on the new MEX highway. Once we got there, it was a madhouse. The whole place was jammed pack. I guess everyone had nothing better to do and was all out at the same time. We saw lots of families with kids and also photo enthusiast. We were quite lucky and managed to find parking nearby. We managed to grab a quick bite before the event started. It was supposed to start at 5.45pm but it only started close to 6.30pm.

It’s really cool to see the balloon take off. It did take them a while to get the balloon up and flying away. Was really looking forward to see the Elephant balloon, but was sad that it didn’t manage to take off as it was way too late to fly then. My favorite was the orange balloon J Here’s some of the photo’s I managed to take of the balloons.

Lightning Storm!

It's been raining a lot lately, and the storms been crazy. So I decided to try my hand on taking lightning photos. Wasn't too sure how to take them but after playing around with the camera we finally figured it out. So here's the 2 best shot we've got.

AJ 62nd Polka Dot B'day Party

This year's theme is Polka Dot! We had so much fun, especially dotting everyone plus playing Wii at the party.

My First Solid Food

I've been waiting a long while to eat now. Mummy and daddy has been tempting me with their food but never ever let me try. Finally the long awaited moment has arrived, I get to taste what solid food taste like. It's actually quite yummy. Both mummy and daddy took turns trying to feed me. I ate about 10 spoons full :) Looking forward to taste more good food. So far, I've tried some bread and I like it a lot. Plus 2nd weeks menu was carrot....yum. Next week some sweet potatoes and maybe peas.

2nd Invitation B'day Party

Isabel got invited to another b'day party. This time is Dolly's daughter 2 year old party. The theme of the party...ELMO'S WORLD :P Baby had fun but kinda spooked out by the red giant Elmo. The best thing is that she like the balloon. Something new :)

My first play date

Our first play date with Aunty Sewei and her kids. Aunty Sewei baked healthy choc chip cookies. While the kids play play. It's good fun. We should do this more often :)

Swim Time

Isabel loves the water :) So far she's been in the pool quite a few times now. Also, ever since mummy got her new camera (Olympus Tough 8000) by the way, damn cool camera I must say... now we can take pics in the pool and underwater. Here are some of the photo shots.

Daddy's Birthday :)

Happy Birthday daddy!!!!

It was a long and fun filled day. Followed daddy to the temple to do Dana. After which we went to the national blood bank where daddy donated blood. For lunch, we went to TGIF :) Came home rested and then we went to Subang for Dinner @ Rakuzen. Food was delicious :) Mummy also bought cake for daddy....hope daddy's wishes all come true. Hope you like you're gift!

Let's go to the zoo!!!!

Isabel got invited to her first birthday party. The party took placed at the ZOO. I guess mummy n daddy was more excited than Isabel. Not too sure if she enjoyed it but we enjoyed taking her and showing her the animals. Our Zoo is kinda sad, animals don't look very happy...I guess who would be if you're caged up all the time. Anyhow, Isabel got to see her favorite animal the Elephant. By the time we got to the elephant she's was already very tired and sleepy :)

Valentine's Day Steamboat Dinner

We didn't do much...just a quite dinner at home. Decided to have steamboat...so we went out shopping to get the stuff and came home to cook. Dinner was lovely and we spent our day with our Valentine aka Baby Isabel :) Mommy and daddy was so busy trying to prepare food and cook that they forgot to take pics of me :P

I'm 5 months old

She's still a tiny little baby. Growing slowly but healthy and super active.
Love to go out "kai kai" all the time.
Mummy's nick name for me is "PUGGY" look like a little pug :P
I can roll over on my tummy now and roll back on my back :P
I don't quite like tummy time, kick a fuss all the time cause I can't move :P
I can blow bubbles with my saliva :P
I can also sit up with mommy's help
I can get onto sitting position when mummy pulls me up
I can LOL on my own
I can drink water from my sippy cup
I can't wait to eat food....mummy and daddy is so evil they tempt me all the time with yummy stuff that I can't eat :(
I've grown taller - 66cm long
Weight - don't know will have to wait for next checkup with doc guessing that I've surpass the 6kg mark :P

Chinese New Year!! MOO MOO YEAR!!!

Well, I just realized that it's been over a month since my last post. I was really busy getting ready for CNY...stressed out mostly. Trying to get everything done in such short time. I managed to complete all my task though. However, the whole CNY happened so fast hardly had time to enjoy and the usual stuff. This year only got to "Loh Sang" once :( plus didn't really get to play mahjong...*sob*sob

Once again we headed back to Penang, the journey was ok, took us about 4 hours plus to reach. We sat in daddy's new car...first time back to Penang. Packing and loading took about 1 hour. We only had 1 suitcase, the rest of the car boot was filled with Isabel's things. We spent about a week there :) Isabel loved collecting angpows :) anything red and shinny she will grab. LOL

Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary Dinner

We were supposed to have this dinner last year during our 1 year anniversary but couldn't since baby Isabel arrival. Therefore we had to postpone it. Thank god the hotel was nice enough to extend it. We had our little dinner at Bossanova, Parkroyal. Brazillian food. The food was awesome, we even had lobster. Isabel was really interested to eat it though. She was fussing alot that night, wanting lots of attention :P But the 3 of us had a good time.

Doctor's Visit - 4 Months

This time around doc say everything is good and ok. I'm just a little under weight :P I guess that's because I'm very active. I weigh 5.3kg now and I'm 61cm long. This time around also didn't make a fuss or cry when I got my jabs. Quite brave :) Only cry a little when doc tried to feed me the Rotavirus medication (I have to take it orally) :( Doc says cannot waste cost lots of money.

Mummy and I made it to the doctors and back fine without daddy this trip. I'm a big girl now and can sit in my seat on my own now.

Mummy caught me with my toes today...also tried out my new yoga pose.

I'm 4 months old :P

Time really flies when you're super busy. The days seems to passed on by really fast. The little one is already 4 months old. This is what she can do now....she has progressed so much and so fast its unbelievable.

Also part 2 of her video talking to daddy. She's quite talkative and very loud this week. Calls you when she needs attention and some one to entertain her. She keeps both mummy and daddy busy all the time.
